We must have been living under a rock for the past 10 years because we completely missed the incredible work and efforts of such a beautifully hearted patriot, Ya Noella serving our motherland! After finding out about the Georges Malaika Foundation through an accidental click, we have not stopped going back to its site to read more. A while ago we read about the Oprah Winfrey Leadership Academy in SA, and then about Matumaini ASBL in Kinshasa, but not once did we expect to discover such a powerful “concrete rose” project!! The passion, the blood, the tears, the struggle, the success, can really be felt, and all at once! What you have done here Ya Noella, is just incredible! We commend you! The school, the wells, the community centre, the movement, the awareness/exposure, all of it, is just beyond belief. You have honoured your land, our ancestors, and the future generations. “Nous peupleront ton sol et nous assureront ta grandeur…“, a serious pledge and here you have it… underway. We cannot wait to see the effects of this in 20-50yrs time! We hope to learn more from you and to hopefully one day replicate in other parts of our country. Even though we don’t know any of the staff that work there (apart from reading some of their stories), we love them with all our hearts. Neither do we know the girls attending the school but we know that we will be there for them. We don’t know the village, but we know that we will support it. We don’t know how, but we just know that we will!

Are the boys from a brother foundation? Or are they a football team? Can we have information on them please. We want to support them all.
